Scottish homes can claim up to £5K to warm up their homes this winter Home insulation grants are available for Scottish households
Families across Scotland could be entitled to thousands of pounds to help heat their homes in a more environmentally friendly way and help keep costs down amid huge energy price hikes.
As winter draws closer and the days get colder, many of us will be switching on the heating for longer. However, the energy crisis has seen household bills soar as a result of wholesale prices rocketing, with many independent gas providers collapsing under the pressure.
In a recent survey, 70 percent of people in Scotland said they were concerned about their energy bills this year. On top of that, homeowners and residents are being encouraged to do their bit to help the climate crisis. Heating our homes can come with an environmental cost as well as making a large dent in our bank balance.
To help Scottish residents, extra funds are being made available in the form of grants of up to £5,000 for greener energy in homes.
An additional £18 million will be available this year to help householders install energy efficient measures and reduce their heating bills, bringing the total support available through Home Energy Scotland and through the Utilities via ECO funding, to £50 million in 2021-2022.
People in Scotland are being urged to seek support and advice to help make their homes warmer and reduce their heating bills, on average of up to £300 per year.
Talk to us today and we can help source funding and carry out the insulation and heating measures for you.
