How Can We Help?
Who is eligible for LA Flex?
Eligibility for LA Flex (Local Authority Flexible Eligibility) is determined by your local council, allowing them to help more households benefit from free or subsidised energy-saving measures—even if you don’t qualify under standard government schemes.
You may be eligible for LA Flex if:
- Your household has a low or moderate income.
- You are at risk of fuel poverty (struggling to afford to heat your home).
- Someone in your household has a health condition that is made worse by living in a cold home (such as respiratory or cardiovascular issues).
- Your property is hard to heat or has a poor energy efficiency rating.
- You’re a homeowner, private tenant, or sometimes a social housing tenant (depending on local policies).
Each local authority sets its own criteria, so eligibility can vary based on local needs and priorities. The aim is to reach people who might otherwise miss out on support.
